Autumn is here - are you worried about your child getting a cough?

Coughs are one of the most common reasons we see children in Blossom Tree Children’s clinic. Coughs are a common feature of childhood but hopefully they are a rare event and can be relatively quickly resolved.

However, in some cases it can be an event for the whole family to dread, with exhausting nights of endless coughing, or the precipitation of other lung conditions such as wheezing and breathlessness or even emergency trips to the hospital. For some children it can mean many rounds of antibiotics which lead to more deficiency and susceptibility to further coughs. A child may go down with a cough in autumn which lingers through the entire winter.

Our treatments can help chronic and acute coughs in children, clearing the cough and strengthening the child so they don’t succumb to so many coughs.

We have many gentle ways of treating a child to support their immune system and always work with what suits the child, these include massage, cupping, laser therapy and ultra fine needles when appropriate.

This autumn we are also offering some highly effective Chinese herbal remedies formulated specifically for children to be taken alongside clinic treatments.

If you would like to discuss your child with us or book a place please contact us on children@blossomtreeclinic.com and have a look at our website https://www.blossomtreeclinic.com/childrens-clinic
